• Dialog by Wavearts is an ideal (plugin) solution for folks working with spoken word – podcasters and voiceover artists.
• Front End Audio is another great source for professional audio gear.
• ID3 Editor is the software I use to tag my mp3′s. You should, too. It works for Mac and Windows.
• Giant Squid Audio Lab is owned by Darren Nemeth. For years he’s made some killer lapel mics.
• Music by Dan-O at DanoSongs.com
• Music Radio Creative is operated by Mike Russell and they create killer podcast production elements (intros, bumpers, etc.). I love his work and have plans to implement some of his work into my own podcast soon.
• Twisted Wave is the audio editor of choice. It’s simple, powerful and ideal for podcasting and voiceover work.
• Adobe Audition CS6 is a preferred multi-track recording software.
• Sony Sound Forge is preferred by many PC-Window’s users. It’s now available for the Mac, too.
Podcasting (Video)
• Call Recorder by ECamm is a terrific, inexpensive way to record Skype calls on your Mac.
• iGlasses is also by ECamm. It’s a great little tool you can use to incorporate effects and to gain greater control over your webcam.
• Webcam Settings is an Apple Store app that works like iGlasses. It’ll help you set up your webcam for improved performance.
• iVideoHero is an online course that teaches you how to create great videos using your Apple iPhone.
• HDHat is an online resource for tons of very useful iPhone accessories that can turn your iPhone into a killer video shooting system.
• ScreenFlow 4 by Telestream is my screen capture video software of choice. It’s got mad power.
